Your photograph

Your photo is processed in your browser, on your device. It is never uploaded as an image, and we never receive a copy of it.

What we do receive, when you ask for a code, is the 3D model your browser built and a picture of the finished lamp. The design embodies your photograph as relief in that model and in that preview image — the shape of the shade is your picture — so those two files carry it in that form, and they are kept for as long as the section below says.

We also store the numbers describing the part: its dimensions, the layout, the rectangle you cropped, and the pixel size of the file you started from. No pixel data, no encoded image, and no fingerprint of your photo is stored.

What is collected

• The configuration of your part: dimensions, layout, and the crop rectangle.
• The generated model file and the preview image described above.
• Your IP address, used to limit how many codes one visitor can request. It is stored in our logs only as an anonymised hash, never as the address itself.

What is not collected

This app needs no account. It collects no name, no email address, and no payment details. Payment happens on Etsy, under Etsy’s own privacy policy.

How long it is kept

A design you never buy is deleted automatically, along with its model and preview files, within 72 hours. A design you do buy is kept so the order can be made, shipped and supported, until the shop owner deletes it.

Who it is shared with

For an order you have bought, the ship-to name and address from your Etsy order are shared with the print fulfilment provider, solely so the part can be made and posted to you. With no one else. Your data is never sold.

Analytics

This build runs no analytics and no third-party trackers.
